On Friday, December 9th, 2011 Ultimate Arts Tattoo and Ozz from 94.1 JJO hosted the 9th Annual “Tats 4 Tots” toy drive, our annual fundraiser and toy collection to benefit the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign.

Ozz was broadcasting live on 94.1 JJO while the crew from Ultimate Arts and the U.S. Marines collect toys. Almost 900 people came and donated 3,700 new unwrapped child’s toys. That is a nice jump from the 1,200 toys donated in 2010.

All the people that donated were bribed of course. Bribed with tattoo gift certificates as well as discounts and freebees from several local business. Over $500,000 was up for grabs this year, with a giant grand prize that included burgers, beer and massages for a year. A lap top, tooth whitening and a ton more.

Tats 4 Tots is the largest 1 day toy drive in the Midwest. We are currently looking for one that is larger anywhere in the country. According to the local Marines, they don't know of one anywhere in the country.
