| Q: Why do you recommend that I don’t re-bandage my new tattoo? |
| A: Re-bandaging will suffocate your tattoo and cause the skin to push out color. Your skin needs the air to grow a protective layer over the tattoo to seal it. If you need convincing about the affects of suffocating the skin, remember what your finger looks like when you take a Band-Aid off after a day or so. The skin is moist and much lighter. You don't want this for your tattoo. |
